The Business or Technical Affiliates work on Business or Technical assignments under the ABS umbrella. By working with us an Affiliate enjoys all of the advantages of working for a Limited Company – but also retains the flexibility of self employment.

There may be the opportunity for an Affiliate to upgrade to a Business Associate which has employed status once the level of business generated reaches a suitable sustainable level. Seasoned Consultants with an existing client base and wishing to expand their portfolio and income potential are welcome to contact us about becoming part of our matrix as Business Associates. The Affiliate is responsible for developing a client base within their preferred location, but may from time to time be offered assignments where their expertise and specific skills are appropriate. Full details of the Affiliate’s capabilities will be stored on a searchable data base and when an opportunity assignment arises will be immediately contacted for availability.

Remuneration will be paid in accordance to the number of hours agreed and worked on an assignment. Additional bonuses will be paid retrospectively in line with the level of direct business generated.

ABS is currently seeking on a nationwide basis self-motivated business and technical affiliates, with

  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • A “hands on” approach to getting things done
  • Demonstrable experience in modern business/ technical practice either in a middle/senior management role or as a consultant

Ideally the person should be a self starter who is now seeking a new challenge and wishing to expand their horizons and develop a long term sustainable income through self employment.

Qualifications: higher qualification (degree preferred) in either Business or Technical subject and / or be a member of a recognised Professional Institute.

Experience: at least 5 years in a middle – senior management role or 2 -5 yrs in a consultancy role
